crab spider
A close-up with a 100mm macro lens, 1/640 sec at f/7.1 in bright sunlight. This spider was probably about 1 cm wide, including legs. They're called crab spiders because they creep sideways, like crabs. Which came first, crab spiders or spider crabs?
